This page presents the general conference information and procedures.
1. Paper Format
Instructions on the format of MED’16 papers and the corresponding LaTeX and MS Word templates can be found under Paper Format.
2. Paper submission and review procedures
The Program Chairs are soliciting contributed technical papers for presentation at the Conference and publication in the Conference Digital Proceedings. Authors should only submit original work that has neither appeared elsewhere for publication nor which is under review for another publication. For details, please check IEEE policies regarding originality of content. Authors are encouraged to accompany their presentations with multimedia material (i.e., videos), which will be included in the Conference Digital Proceedings.
For details on paper format and submission, go to Paper submission.
All submitted papers will undergo a peer review process coordinated by the Program Chairs, Advisory Committee Members, IPC members and qualified reviewers.Authors will achieve notification of acceptance or rejection via e-mail. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to submit final camera-ready papers for inclusion in conference proceedings.

4. Paper publication policy
Submission of a paper implies the authors acknowledge the requirement of registration and attendance by at least one author at the conference. For an accepted paper to be included in the conference program and the Conference Proceedings, one of the authors is required to register by early/author registration deadline and attend the conference to present the work.
5. Conference proceedings
Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, including IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, if the paper is not presented by the author at the conference.
